Riverside Lyric Ensemble (RLE) is an community based performing arts ensemble - founded by Judith Rowling in 1991 - providing entertainment to the Parramatta and wider Sydney community. Riverside Lyric Ensemble in the heart of Metropolitan Sydney, will present RLE CENTRE STAGE (a showcase of musical theatre) at the Riverside Theatre, Parramatta, on the 21st and 22nd of August later this year. Performers are required to sing a song of their choice and complete a short dance / movement audition. Solos, duos, trios and small group acts are welcome, and performers will need to provide their own sheet music. Those selected will also be involved in small ensemble numbers and large production numbers involving the whole cast. Auditions will be held on Tuesday 12th May at North Rocks Uniting Church, North Rocks Road, North Rocks. Directed by Anne Hart, Musically Directed by Greg Jones and Choreographed by Keely Soulsby, this concert will be a visual spectacular of musical theatre, old and new.
